The mission of the Addiction Services Council is to aid in building a community that is free of drug and alcohol abuse and the disease of addiction. Addiction Services Council is a non-profit, community-based organization with the conviction that alcoholism, drug addiction, and other addictive illnesses are treatable. Their focus is on fighting the nation’s #1 health problem and the devastating consequences on individuals. Addiction Services Council are advocates for the reduction of the stigma associated with alcoholism and other drug addiction. Their goal is to provide solutions through the provision of quality prevention, assessment, referral, treatment, education, and advocacy services in a manner reflective of the changing culture of our community. Addiction Services Council would like to bring attention to Overdose Awareness Day, August 31st, through this campaign partnership in efforts to raise awareness to our Cincinnati community.
