The Center for Women and Families is a local organization that provides trauma-informed advocacy and support for individuals, families, and communities affected by intimate partner violence and sexual assault. They serve seven counties including southern Indiana and Louisville. They mitigate the impact of trauma by building resiliency and reducing risk factors at all levels. The Center for Women and Families is guided by a strong grassroots feminist history and a commitment to social and economic justice. They co-create violence-free lives, families, and communities.

Their intentions with the funds raised through this donation-matching campaign are to use the funds to help offset costs affecting all of their clients who have been impacted by COVID-19. These include emergency housing, meals, toiletries, supplies and general care for those affected by domestic violence during the COVID-19 pandemic.
